DWELL | DESIGN LEADERS
In the summer of 2007, BEAU BOUVERAT was commissioned by dwell magazine to create an original series of "pocket documentaries" for the web.
The film series consists of eight 3 - 5 minute web films, each showcasing different Design Leaders from the world of architecture and related fields.
This film offers the viewer a glimpse into the world of the legendary architectural photographer, Julius Shulman. Julius shares with us the story of how he fell into his career as a young man. He shares memories of specific architects and houses with us in his home studio. We are fortunate to have had an opportunity to meet and capture such an industry giant as he sadly passed on earlier this year.
